Abstract

[تتناول هذه المقالة تأسيس الجامعة المصرية في خضم الحركة الوطنية المطالبة بالاستقلال والدستور. ويستعرض الكاتب حركات الطلاب منذ ثورة ۱۹۱۹ حتى أواخر السبعينيات من القرن الماضي، ثم يتناول أهمية التربية السياسية للطلاب، وخاصة منذ أن اتجه المجتمع اتجاهاً ديموقراطياً. ثم يتناول التعريفات المختلفة للمشاركة السياسية لطلاب الجامعة وأهميتها، مشيراً ٳلى بعض المعوقات التي تواجهها، مثل هيمنة الأمن والٳدارة على أنشطة الطلاب وهيمنة التيارات الدينية المتطرفة على الجامعة وحجب المشروعية عن بعض التيارات السياسية. وتنتهي المقالة بخبرة ذاتية للكاتب من خلال اشتراكه في العمل السياسي من منطلقات يسارية في الجامعة في سبعينيات القرن الماضي . This article traces the establishment of the Egyptian university in the throes of the national movement for independence. The author overviews student movements from 1919 to the late 1970s. The article discusses the importance of political education for students in light of Egyptian society's democratic tendencies. The author tackles the various definitions of political involvement and its importance, pointing out a number of the obstacles it faces: security surveillance, the spread of religious fanaticism and the exclusion of certain political currents. The article concludes with a testimony based on the author's involvement in the leftist movement of the 1970s.]
