[تتناول المقالة رواية أولاد حارتنا لنجيب محفوظ بوصفها نصاً فنياً في قالب سردي استلهم بعض شخوصه وأحداثه من القرآن، ولكن من منظور فلسفي قصصي، معتمدة على نظرية شكري عياد عن أنسنة الدين. ومدخل المقالة للرواية هو مدخل تأويلي وليس تفسيري للنص. وعن طريق تحليلها للشخصيات المتنوعة ذات الأسماء والحيوات الخاصة بها، والزمان غير محدد الملامح، والمكان في ٳحدى حارات مصر فى فترة ماضية، واستخدام الراوي لتقنية سردية تمزج الماضي بالحاضر وتعلق على الأحداث والشخصيات، توضح المقالة أن المعيار الفني الملاﺋﻢ لتحليل المعالجة الفنية هو استخدام التأويل وآليات البناء والسرد . This articles analyzes Naguib Mahfouz's "Children of the Alley" as an artistic philosophical narrative inspired by the Quran, and draws upon Shukri Ayyad's humanistic theory of religion. Analyzing the novel's characters, temporal and spatial dimensions, and narrative techniques, the article reveals that religious projection is not a suitable tool for analyzing this text, and that interpretation of structure and narration may offer a better key to understanding it.]
