Abstract

[تتناول هذه المقالة سبعة أعمال فنية تعاملت مع أسطورة ريا وسكينة عبر خمسة وثمانين عاماً، وعبرّت ـ وفقاً لظروف ٳنتاجها وتاريخه ـ عن معنى الحذف والٳضافة في مروية تاريخية دون سند. وتوضّح المقالة كيف عكست هذه الأعمال تصورات المجتمع عن نفسه وعن شريحة مغبونة فيه لم تجد أية فرصة لسرد حكايتها الحقيقية. فالحادثة التاريخية كانت نتاج سياق اجتماعي وسياسي واقتصادي حاولت الذاكرة الجمعية ٳنكاره، وهو ما انعكس على مجمل المعالجات الفنية لها دون استثناء، حيث لم يستطع الزمن ولا شروط الٳبداع المتغيرة خلق مساحة للتسامح مع ذلك التحيز والتمييز ضد هاتين السيدتين . This article examines seven artistic adaptations of the story of Rayya and Sekina over a period of eighty-five years, exploring the processes of addition and deletion this undocumented historical narrative has undergone. It analyzes how these adaptations have come to reflect society's vision of itself and of one of its oppressed and silenced sections. The article finally reveals that a process of denial of the historical, social, and economic conditions underlying this incident has been manifested by all these adaptations in their consistent jaded and intolerant view of the two women.]
