Abstract

[The article addresses what has come to be known in medieval Arabic criticism as "new poetry," while exploring sacralization from two angles-artistic and cultural. Artistically, the study analyzes the position of medieval critics who rejected this novel poetry because it departed from the norms of the classical qasida (ode) which donned a sacred mask and thus could not be questioned. Culturally, medieval critics viewed this new poetry as threatening to the dominant social and religious values. They accused the innovative poets of religious heresy or/and anti-Arab attitudes. The new poetry harbored a critical position towards the hegemonic and satirized religious practices. It encouraged readers to rethink the static values on which the social order was based by removing the masks of sacredness and revealing the corruption of authority. The article provides telling examples of verse that rebelled against religious dogma and social conventions, expressing its message in a provocative way. /تتناول هذه الدراسة ما تعارف النقد العربي القديم على تسميته بالشعر المحدث، طارحةﹰ مسألة القداسة من ناحيتين٠ من الناﺣﻴﺔ الفنية تعرض ﺍﻟﺪﺭﺍﺳﺔ الموقف النقدي القديم الرافض لهذا الشعر لكونه منحرفاﹰ عن شكل القصيدة الجاهلية الذي ﺧﻠﻊ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ النقد قناع التقديس٠ أما من الناحية الثقافية فإن عدداﹰ من القدماء رأى في هذا الشعر ﺗﻬﺪﻳﺪﺍﹰ لمنظومة القيم الاجتماعية الدينية ﺍﻟﺴﺎﺋﺪﺓ فرموا أصحاب هذا الشعر بالزندقة مرة، وبالشعوبية مرة أخرى٠ إن هذا الشعر ﻛﻤﺎ تعرض له هذه الدراسة يتخذ من المفاهيم الدينية ﺍﻟﺴﺎﺋﺪﺓ موقفاﹰ ﻧﻘﺪﻳﺎﹰ يتسم بكثير من السخرية، مما يحرض المتلقي على إعادة النظر فيما تأسس عليه المجتمع من قيم ثابتة تنطوي على فساد يكشف الشعر المحدث أقنعته، ويزيل بالتالي أقنعة القداسة المزيّفة التي عملت السلطة السياسية والفكرية على تثبيتها٠ إن الدراسة في مجملها تبرز ما انطوى عليه شعر ﺍﻟﻤﺤﺪﺛﻴﻦ من تمرّد وتضافر بين شكل الشعر ومضمونه في وحدة لا تفصل بين الدلالة الثورية والشكل المحدث٠]
