[تستكشف هذه المقالة أهمية مفهوم لاهوت موت الإله ، الذي يمثل استجابة فلسفية ولاهوتية للهولوكوست ، وينتقد الديانة اليهودية التقليدية - وعلى وجه الخصوص فكرة «شعب الله المختار» - ويصوِّر الإله باعتباره العدم المقدس. تسعى المقالة إلى الكشف عن تمثلات هذا اللاهوت باعتباره استجابةً شعرية وتجربة شعورية لا تقتصر على الجماعات اليهودية . وتعتمد المقالة في تحقيق هذا الهدف على عقد مقارنة بين شعر پاول تسيلان ومحمود درويش ، وتخلص إلى أن النزعة العدمية قد سيطرت على تسيلان من البداية إلى النهاية ، على حين واجه درويش هذه النزعة في أعماله الباكرة ، لكنهما احتفيا بالعدم المقدس في نهاية المطاف. This article explores the significance of death of God theology, a philosophical and theological response to the Holocaust which criticizes the notion of the chosen people in traditional Judaism, and represents God as Holy Nothingness. The article uncovers the representations of this theology as both a poetic response and an emotional experience beyond Jewish communities. It compares the poetry of Paul Celan and Mahmoud Darwish, concluding that while nihilism dominated Celan’s poetry, Darwish resisted it in his early work, yet, in the final analysis, both celebrated Holy Nothingness.]
