[هذه ترجمة لمقتطف من مقدمة روبرت ج. س. يونج للجزء الخاص بالمسرح من كتاب الاغتراب والحرية لفرانز فانون (١٩٢٥-١٩٦١) الذي قام بتحريره بالاشتراك مع جان خلفبة . يركز يونج في هذا الجزء من المقدمة على الظروف التاريخية والفلسفية المحيطة بفانون ، وتحديداً على السيريالية الوجودية التىي تميزت بها كتاباته . ومن خلال العديد من الاستشهادات من نصوص فانون ، وتتبعه لسير الكتاب الذين أثّروا عليه ، يقدم يونج للقارئ إنتاج فانون المسرحي والذي قليلاً ما يلقى الضوء عليه مقارنة بكتاباته السياسية . This is a translation of part of the introduction by Robert J. C. Young to the section on theater in the book Alienation and Freedom by Frantz Fanon (1925-1961), which he co-edited with Jean Khalfa. In this part of the introduction, Young focuses on the historical and philosophical circumstances surrounding Fanon, specifically the surrealist existentialism which characterized his writings. With numerous excerpts from Fanon's texts, tracing the biographies of authors who left an imprint on Fanon, Young introduces the reader to Fanon's theatrical writing, which often receives little attention compared to his political writings.]
