Abstract

[ترصد المقالة تاربخ فرقة الورشة المسرحية وتحولاتها منذ نشأتها في عام ١٩٨٧ لتصبح أول فرقة مسرحية مصرية مستقلة ، تلك الفرقة التي افتتحت بأعمالها تاريخاً من الفكر المستقل ومن الإبداع المسرحي الذي استمر حتى الآن . فقد انتقل حسن الجريتلي - مؤسس الفرقة وفنانها الآساﺳﻲ - من تمصير المسرحيات الغربية إلى إعادة اكتشاف الأشكال المصرية التراثية الملحمية ، وخيال الظل وا لحكي . وبذلك أسهمت أعمال الورشة بشكل حيوي في تحويل الأشكال المصرية الشعبية والتراثية المهددة بالاندثار إلى تصورات مسرحية حديثة . وتعرض المقالة كذلك نماذج مفصّلة من إنتاج الورشة عبر ثلاثين عاماُ من التجريب المستمر . This article traces the history of El-Warsha Theater Troupe and its turning points since its foundation in 1987. Being the first independent Egyptian theatre group, it inaugurated a history of independent thinking and staging that has lasted until today. The article demonstrates how Hassan El Geretly, El-Warsha's artistic director and main artist, shifted from Egyptianizing Western plays, to re-exploring Egyptian traditional forms of folk saga, shadow play, and storytelling. The works of El-Warsha have contributed substantially to transforming threatened Egyptian popular and traditional art forms into modern theatrical renditions. The article presents a number of El-Warsha's performances over its three decades of production.]
