Abstract

[This article explores the adoption processes of translation technologies, based on the various generic models of technology acceptance and their use or extension in translation studies and business research. The article provides an overview of contemporary commercial discourse on translation technologies, showing how technology providers are increasingly encouraged to engage with users at the design stage, to harness the innovation of user-actors and empower them. The author argues that such processes rely heavily on communication strategies related to the use of social media. تبحث المقالة العلاقة بين التكنولوجيا والترجمة من خلال دراسة نماذج مبدئية لاستخدام التكنولوجيا وتطويرها في الدراسات المتعلقة بالترجمة وإدارة الأعمال . تستعرض المقالة الخطاب التجاري المعاصر حول تكنولوجيات الترجمة ، موضحةً تزايد التواصل والتفاعل بين منتجي هذه التكنولوجيا ومستخدميها ، بداية من مرحلة التصميم ، للاستفادة مما يقدمه هؤلاء المستخدمون من ابتكارات وتمكينهم في ذات الوقت . ترى كاتبة المقالة أن هذه العمليات تعتمد بشكل كبير على إستراتيجيات التفاعل المتعلقة باستخدام وسائط التواصل الاجتماعي .]
