Abstract

[This article draws parallels between the narrative productions of Colombian Nobel laureate Gabriel García Márquez (1927-2014) and Lebanese writer Rabee Jaber (b. 1972). Despite the geo-cultural distance and the generational gap, the two writers have in common a professional occupation as journalists, the fact of being narrative authors, and a historical context of persistent political violence that permeates their narratives as a constant theme. The aesthetic assimilation of the trauma caused by that violence reveals itself in both writers through the play with the "fictional pact" and the journalistic "pact of veracity," which seeks to dissipate the boundaries between fiction and reality. تقارن هذه المقالة بين الإنتاج السردي للكاتب الكولومبي جابرييل جارثيا ماركيز (١٩٢٧ـ٢٠١٤) والكاتب اللبناني ربيع جابر (ﻭُلِدَ ١٩٧٢) . فبالرغم من بعدهما جغرافياً وثقافياً والفجوة التي تفصل جيلهما ، فإن كلا ﺍﻟﻜﺎﺗﺒﻴﻦ يشتركان في امتهان العمل ﺍﻟﺼﺤﻔﻲ إلى جانب عملهما بوصفهما روائيين ، إضافة إلى مواجهتهما سياقاً اجتماعاً سياسياً امتاز بالعنف خلال حياتهما . ويسود هذا العنف حبكات معظم رواياتهما باعتباره تيمة ثابتة . ويتجلى ﺍﻷثر الجمالي للفجيعة التى تسبب فيها هذا العنف عند كلا الكاتبين من خلال دمجهما بين ((الميثاق ﺍﻟﺘﺨﻴﻴﻠﻲ)) و(( ميثاق الصدق)) ﺍﻟﺼﺤﻔﻲ من أجل طمس الحدود بين الخيال والحقيقة .]
