Abstract
[This article questions the meaning of belonging in Wadih Saadeh's poetry through exploring Jean Greisch's notion of "strange(r)ness" and the notion of duality as discussed in Freud's "The Uncanny." It shows how "Strange(r)ness" can form new in-between spaces and alternative residence locations. The tendency to fissure formation results in a transcendental self that has no fixed abode and reflects a rhizomatic way of thinking in which it transcends the here and now and longs for obtaining what it lacks. This unfulfilled longing acts as its underlying drive to manipulate the "margin" through modifying its negative connotations: despair, hopelessness, and deprivation, making it the "center" or mainstream. ﺗﺘﻨﺎﻭﻝ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺎﻟﺔ ﻣﻌﻨﻰ ﺍﻹﻗﺎﻣﺔ ﻭﻣﺎﻫﻴﹼﺔ ﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻐﺮﺑﻴﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻔﺎﺭﹺﻗﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺷﻌﺮ ﻭﺩﻳﻊ ﺳﻌﺎﺩﺓ، ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼﻝ ﻋﺮﺽ ﻣﻔﺎﻫﻴﻢ ﺍﻹﻏﺘﺮﺍﺏ ﻭﺍﻟﻐﺮﻳﺐ ﻭﺍﻟﻐﺮﺍﺑﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﹸﻘﻠﹺﻘﺔ، ﻭﻣﻨﺎﻗﺸﺔ ﺇﺷﻜﺎﻟﻴﹼﺔ ﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻐﺮﻳﺒﺔ ﻭﺩﻭﺭ ﺍﻻﺯﺩﻭﺍﺟﻴﹼﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺗﻜﻮﻳﻨﻬﺎ ﻭﺗﺸﻜﻴﻞ ﺻﻔﺎﺗﻬﺎ، ﻭﻫﻲ: ﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﻬﻤﱠﺸﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻬﻤﱢﺸﺔ، ﻭﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﻔﺎﺭﹺﻗﺔ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﻜﻮﻥ ﺑﻼ ﻣﹸﻘﺎﻡ ﻭﺑﻤﻘﺎﻡ ﻓﻲ ﺁﻥﹴ ﻣﻌﺎﹰ. ﻟﻌﻞﹼ ﺍﻟﺴﺒﺐ ﺍﻷﺳﺎﺳﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻮﻥﹶ ﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻐﺮﻳﺒﺔ ﻛﺎﺋﻨﺎﹰ ﺇﺷﻜﺎﻟﻴﺎﹰ ﻳﻌﻮﺩ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﺼﻴﻐﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﻜﺎﻧﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﻨﻄﻠﻖ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ ﻭﺗﻘﻴﻢ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ، ﺃﻱ ﺍﻟﻬﺎﻣﺶ. ﻭﺍﻟﻬﺎﻣﺶ ﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﺨﻴﻂ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﻇﻢ ﻷﻧﹼﻪ ﺍﻟﻤﻜﺒﻮﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﻮﺟﻮﺩ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻼﻭﻋﻲ، ﻭﻫﻮ ﻣﺎ ﺗﺤﺎﻭﻝ ﺍﻟﺬﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻐﺮﻳﺒﺔ ﺗﺒﺪﻳﺪ ﺧﺼﺎﺋﺼﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻠﺒﻴﺔ ﻭﺗﻔﻌﻴﻠﻪ ﻭﺟﻌﻠﻪ ﻣﺮﻛﺰﺍﹰ .]
