Abstract

[This article analyzes the discursive strategies of the ruling regime during the Egyptian Revolution (January 25-February 11, 2011) as expressed in the public speeches of President Mubarak. Inasmuch as these speeches addressed the protestors in Tahrir Square and their demands, their chants, slogans, banners, and icons are also analyzed in order to grasp the maneuvers of the response. The timing of these speeches, as well as their syntax, lexicon, rhythm, rhetorical embellishments, and familiar quotations are taken into consideration in this discourse analysis. Mubarak's direct and indirect self-praise, presentation of the national past, and the scenarios of the future are examined closely. ﺗﺤﻠﻞ المقالة أهم المناورات التي استخدمها خطاب السلطة لإيقاف مد الثورة اﻟﻤﺼﺮية (٢٥ ﻳﻨﺎﻳﺮ - ١١ ﻓﺒﺮﺍﻳﺮ ٢٠١١) أو تقليل مداها وتحجيم آثارها . وللإحاطة بطبيعة هذه المناورات وتحليل آليات عملها، تدرس المقالة ظواهر ﻏﻴﺮ ﺧﻄﺎبية مثل تكنولوجيا إنتاج الخطب، والسيطرة على سياق تلقيها، وأخرى معجمية وتركيبية مثل التراكيب التراثية واﻹلتفات، ﻭﺇﻳﻘﺎﻋﻴﺔ مثل التوازي النحوي والسجع وحسن التقسيم، ومضمونية مثل موضوعات مدح الذات، ومفهومية مثل تمثيلات الماﺿﻲ وسيناريوهات المستقبل اﻹستعارية . ولأن هذا الخطاب كان يناور خطاب الثورة ويحاوره ويفنده ويستجيب له؛ فإن هتافات الثوار وشعاراتهم وأيقوناتهم ولافتاتهم تحظى هي أﻳﻀﺎﹰ ﺑﺒﻌﺾ اﻹهتمام . ولإنجاز هذا التحليل، يوظف الكاتب مفاهيم من حقلي البلاغة وتحليل الخطاب مثل القسر البلاغي والإستلاب الخطابي والإنتقاد المستتر .]
