Abstract

[تسعى هذه المقالة ٳلى الكشف عن دور مستشرقي الجامعة المصرية في تقديم النمط الحديث لدراسة تاريخ الأدب العربي، وتتخذ من ٳسهام المستشرق الٳيطالي كارلو نالينو نموذجاً لجلاء ذلك الدور؛ فتقدم قراءة لكتابه تاريخ الآداب العربية انطلاقاً من تفعيلها منظورات التاريخية الجديدة التي ﺗﺆﻛﺪ أهمية أدوار التفسير والتأويل في صياغة توجهات ﻣﺆﺭﺥ الأدب. وعلى هذا، تضع المقالة ٳسهام نالينو في ٳطار السياقات الثقافية التي يتقاطع معها، وتكشف عن تجليات الحداثة في منطلقاته النظرية وفي ممارسته التطبيقية؛ مما يُبين خصوصية ٳضافاته ٳلى تأريخ الأدب العربي، ويسهم في الكشف عن دور مستشرقي الجامعة المصرية في وصل أبناء الثقافة المصرية بالتوجهات الحديثة في دراسة تاريخ الأدب . This article reveals the role played by Orientalists in presenting a modern model for studying the history of Arabic literature in the Egyptian university, focusing on the work of Nallino as an example. It presents a New Historicist reading of his book "Tarikh al-adab al-'arabiya" (History of Arabic Literature), shedding light on the role of interpretation in the work of the literary historian. The article contextualizes Nallino's contribution in the cultural milieu in which it emerged, tracing the influence of modernity on his theoretical and analytical practices. The author highlights the specificity of Nallino's contribution and Orientalists' role in connecting Egyptian culture with modern trends in literary history.]
