This presentation analyses the articulation of gender equality and women's rights in the principles, standards and provisions of the Global Compact on Safe,Orderly, and Regular Migration, 2018. It further explores its implementation particularly in the GCC sub region of the Arab States, framed by the socio-economic and political trends governing women's migration for work especially from Asia to GCC Countries
