Abstract

[This article examines the blog, a new literary genre enabled by communication technology. It focuses on Baghdad Burning to demonstrate the features of this new genre: challenges of classification, the relationship among fiction, non-fiction, and autofiction vis-à-vis the writer's identity, structure, plot, language, and temporality. The author highlights the distinct sensory experience of such a multilayered and nonlinear reading, where the text perpetually unfolds without a plot, and where the reader plays a critical role without which the text would not be complete. Blog literature is thus generically distinctive; crosscutting among several genres, it invites new, more nuanced generic classifications. تتناول هذه المقالة المدونات بوصفها نوعاً أدبياً جديداً أخذ طريقه إﻟﻰ البلورة نتيجة لثورة الاتصالات . تتخذ المقالة مدونة بغداد تحترق نموذجاً لطرح أهم خصائص هذا النوع الأدبي الجديد ، مركّزة على إشكاليات التصنيف النوﻋﻲ ، والعلاقة بين المتخيل وغير المتخيل ، وهوية الكاتب في النص ، وﻫﻴﻜﻠﻴﺔ المدونة وحبكتها ولغتها وزمنها . كما تتناول خصوصية القراءة نفسها باعتبارها تجربة متعددة المستويات يكون للقارئ فيها دور مركزي بدونه لا يكتمل النص ، فى عملية تطور مستمرة تحدث ((الآن)) دون تقرير مسبق للحبكة أو ﺍﻟﻨﻬﺎﻳﺔ . يضع ذلك أدب المدونات في تصنيف نوعي مميز يستدﻋﻲ محاولة لبلورة أدوات تحليل جديدة أكثر ملاءمة .]
