Abstract

[تقدم هذه المقالة قراءة في مفهوم الثقافة الشعبية الرائجة وعلاقتها بالثقافة الرسمية من خلال نموذج الأغنية الوطنية في الوطن العربي، وبخاصة في مصر. تقوم المقالة برصد تطورشكل الأغنية الوطنية ومضمونها والنظرإلى فترات ازدهارها وتحليل أسباب ذلك الازدهار، من خلال التركيز على إعادة إحياء الأغنية الوطنية واستخدامها في سياق ثورات الربيع العربي. تتساءل الكاتبة ما إذا كانت صورة الوطن قد اختلفت في الأغنية الوطنية الحديثة، وكيف انعكس ذلك على علاقة الفرد بالوطن. تعرض المقالة عدة نماذج لأغنيات وطنية من مناطق مختلفة من الوطن العربي وتقوم بتحليلها لمحاولة الإجابة عن تلك الأسئلة وإلقاء الضوء على الدور الذي تلعبه الثقافة الشعبية الرائجة في الحياة السياسية . This article offers a reading of popular culture and its relation to mainstream culture through the example of Arab national songs, especially in Egypt. The author traces the development of the form and content of the national song, analyzing the reasons for its boom, particularly focusing on the popularity of the musical genre in the context of the Arab Spring. The author investigates whether the modern national song projects a different image of the nation and how this affects the relation of the citizen vis-à-vis the nation and the ruling power. The article is also concerned with investigating the relation between politics and popular culture.]
