Abstract

[تقدم هذه المقالة تحليلاَﹰ ﺭﻣﺰﻳﺎﹰ لنصوص من شعر صعاليك هذيل في الجاهلية وصدر الإسلام. يميط هذا التحليل اللثام عن حالة المقاومة التي تتخلل سردهم الشعري الذي يعبر قائلوه عن مجابهة الموت أثناء المطاردات التي تعقب ما كانوا يقومون به من غزوات سعياً إلى إنقاذ ذويهم من الموت جوعاً في الصحراء القاحلة. وتُظهر المقالة كيف يكشف شعرهم عن الفخر بالصبر على الجوع، والسخرية ممن يستسلمون لرغد العيش الذي يحيلهم إلى كائنات لا تقوى على التسامي على وجودهم الفيزيقي. ویُظهر التحليل أيضاً قوة انتمائهم لتلك الصحراء التي تحولت إلى رمز من رموز المغالبة، رغم الصعاب التي تتضمنها . This article analyzes texts of saʿalik (vagabond) poets of the tribe of Hudhayl in pre-Islamic and early Islamic Arabia. It presents the element of resistance in their poetry, and how the poets confronted death in their fights to guarantee provisions for their kin in the arid desert. The analysis shows their pride in perseverance and their satirical critique of those who give in to luxuries that enslave them. Furthermore, the study demonstrates from textual evidence the sense of belonging to the desert despite hardships. In their poetry, the desert becomes a symbol with which they identify.]
