Abstract

[تتناول المخرجة تجربتها السينماﺋﻴﺔ التي تبلورت في مجتمع يعج بالصراعات السياسية وفي مرحلة شكلت فيها بلادها مركزاً أساسياً للصراع في المنطقة. هي من الجنوب اللبناني الذي هو شمال فلسطين، تنتمي ٳلى جغرافيا ﻣﻠﻴﺌﺔ بالأحداث والأزمات. عاش أهلها كل أنواع الحروب والصراعات التي لم تتوقف أو تخف حدتها حتى الآن. هذه الجغرافيا صنعت تاريخ المخرجة وقدرها منذ الطفولة حتى الآن. عاشت لتشهد، تتأثر وﺗﺆثر ـ بوصفها فرداً أو جزءاً من شعب ـ في قراءة هذا التاريخ واستلهامه والمشاركة في صناعته. هذه الكتابة هي محاولة لتذكر بعض من ملامح الخصوصية الفردية للمخرجة في علاقتها بالهم العام الذي صاغ وتحكم في تجربتها الٳبداعية . The author of this essay depicts in a personal tone her cinematic experience as a citizen in a country that was central in the unfolding of a regional history beset with traumas. Her roots in South Lebanon, bordering on Palestine, have marked her life as she witnessed the ongoing political struggles in her own country and in the Arab World. She underlines how geography shaped her own personal history from childhood and how she in turn was inspired by that history in her filmmaking. She points out how her individual traits as a director are interwoven with collective concerns to memorialize and analyze events.]
