Abstract

[This article deals with Muhammad 'Afifi Matar's children's stories, tracing the roots of their conception and the ideas behinde their themes. It analyzes a number of representive tales that outline Matar's ideas on education, including man as all possibilities, the sanctity of the teacher-pupil relationship, the function of storytelling in awakening the senses to learning, encouraging children to rise to the challenge of demanding learning, and the value of using history to defy collective memory loss. ﺗﺘﻨﺎﻭﻝ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺎﻟﺔ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺎﺕ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻋﻔﻴﻔﻲ ﻣﻄﺮ ﻟﻸﻃﻔﺎﻝ، ﻣﺘﺘﺒﻌﺔ ﺃﺴﺒﺎﺏ ﺍﺳﺘﻠﻬﺎﻣﻬﺎ، ﻭﺟﺬﻭﺭ ﺃﻓﻜﺎﺭﻫﺎ، ﻭﺗﻴﻤﺎﺗﻬﺎ٠ ﻭﺗﺤﻠﻞ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺎﻟﺔ ﻧﻤﺎﺫﺝ ﻣﺨﺘﺎﺭﺓ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺼﺼﻪ ﻟﻸﻃﻔﺎﻝ، ﻭﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﻌﺒّﺮ ﻋﻦ ﻣﻔﺎﻫﻴﻤﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﺘﻌﻠﻴﻢ، ﺑﻤﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺫﻟﻚ ﺍﺣﺘﻤﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻹﻧﺴﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﻼﻧﻬﺎﺋﻴﺔ، ﻭﻗﺪﺳﻴﺔ ﻋﻼﻗﺔ ﺍﻟﺘﻠﻤﻴﺬ ﺑﻤﺪﺭّﺳﻪ ﻭﻇﻴﻔﺔ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻳﻘﺎﻇ ﺍﻟﺤﻮﺍﺱ ﻟﻠﻤﻌﺮﻓﺔ، ﻭﺗﺸﺠﻴﻊ ﺍﻷﻃﻔﺎﻝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﺤﻤّﻞ ﺍﻟﺘﺤﺪﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﻳﻮﺍﺟﻬﻬﺎ ﻃﺎﻟﺐ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻢ ﻭﻗﻴﻤﺔﺍ ﻻﺳﺘﻨﺎﺩ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﺘﺎﺭﻳﺦ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻮﺍﺟﻬﺔ ﻓﻘﺪﺍﻥ ﺍﻟﺬﺍﻛﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﻲ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﻈّﻢ٠]
