Abstract

[This article builds on the hypothesis that the journey of enlightenment to the 'Other World' in Arabic literature grew out of a tradition grounded in the central Arabic text (The Quran) and extended into the Sufi text. Journey in the Quran is closely related to knowledge, relies heavily on a number of central revelatory, sacrificial, an cognizant actions. The article demonstrates that the Quranic journey has spatial and temporal aspects as well as spiritual goals, and that the essential features of the Quranic journey were present in the Sufi text, while allowing for the incorporation of new elements. ﺗﻨﺘﻠﻖ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺎﻟﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻓﺮﺿﻴﺔ ﺗﺮﻯﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻠﺔ ﺫﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﻐﺰﻯ ﺍﻟﻤﻌﺮﻓﻲ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻟﻢ ﺍﻵﺧﺮ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻷﺩﺏ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺑﻲ ﻧﻬﻀﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺘﻘﺎﻟﻴﺪ ﺗﺄﺳﺴﺖ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻨﺺ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺑﻲ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﻛﺰﻱ (ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﺍﻟﻜﺮﻳﻢ ) ﻭﺍﺳﺘﻤﺮﺕ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻨﺺ ﺍﻟﺼﻮﻓﻲ٠ ﻭﻳﻼﺣﻈ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻠﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﺗﺮﺗﺒﻄ ﺑﺎﻟﻬﺪﻑ ﺍﻟﻤﻌﺮﻓﻲ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻠﺔ ﻭﺗﺴﺘﻨﺪ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻷﻓﻌﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﻤﺤﻮﺭﻳﺔ ﻫﻲ ﺃﻓﻌﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﺮﺅﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺘﻀﺤﻴﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻌﺮﻓﺔ٬ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺗﺘﻤﻴﺰ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﺠﺎﺋﺒﻴﺔ٠ ﻭﻳﺘﺒﻴﻦ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻠﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻧﻴﺔ ﺫﺍﺕ ﺃﺑﻌﺎﺩ ﻣﻜﺎﻧﻴﺔ ﻭﺯﻣﺎﻧﻴﺔ٬ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺃﻥ ﻟﻬﺎ ﺃﻫﺪﺍﻓﺎﹰ ﻣﻌﺮﻓﻴﺔ ﺭﻭﺣﻴﺔ٠ ﻛﻤﺎ ﻳﺘﻀﺢ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻌﻨﺎﺻﺮ ﺍﻷﺳﺎﺳﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻨﺺ ﺍﻟﻤﺼﺪﺭ (ﺍﻟﻤﺮﻛﺰﻱ) ﻇﻠﺖ ﻣﺘﻮﺍﺗﺮﺓ ﺩﺍﺋﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﺤﻀﻮﺭ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻨﺺ ﺍﻟﺠﺪﻳﺪ٬ ﻣﺘﻴﺤﺔ ﺍﻟﻔﺮﺻﺔ ﻟﺪﺧﻮﻝ ﻋﻨﺎﺻﺮﺃﺧﺮﻯ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺮﺩ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ٠]
