Visualizing Alf Leila w Leila
This project visualizes tales of one thousand and one nights. The whole project is based on creating icons. The aim of this project was to create an icon for each tale, the animals and locations mentioned in it, and the number of nights it took each story to be told. As well as, visualizing the patterns of the stories, in terms of characters repeated, animals repeated, real historical characters, and how the tales divide into levels, going from one level to the other. The publication serves as an encyclopedia for anyone who needs detailed information about each tale. Massive research was put into this publication to ease the process for anyone who’s interested in one thousand and one nights, is working on it, and needs information.
