Description or Abstract
This audio documentary sheds light on the increase of divorce today in Egypt and if it is still perceived the same way as it was in older generations. Is there still a stigma around being a divorcee? Does it differ if you're a man or a woman? How does social media and technology have an impact on it? This audio documentary tackles sensitive issues such as the difference between the stigma around a divorced man who is wanted by other women because of this "aura" around him, compared to the woman who is divorced: denied by people and thought of as a "quick fling".
