This audio documentary is about Omar Makram. One of the most significant people in the pages of Egyptian history. He left a large imprint during the late 18th and early 19th century which was a period of drastic change for Egypt. Many people today are not familiar with his significance and some have not even heard of him. The purpose of this audio feature is to shed more light on who he was and what he did. This audio documentary sheds lights on Al Sayed Omar Makram, a man who did not gain the recognition and praise he deserves. “Al Sayed” is a title of respect and honor in the Arabic language. This man is an important figure in the history of Egypt. This period is marked by a series of radical changes that had a strong impact on the shaping of the country. Omar Makram, a leader that devoted his entire life to his nation, played a huge role in this crucial period of time.
