Description or Abstract
Sex is generally a very ‘taboo’ topic everywhere in the world. It’s uncomfortable and often portrayed comically in sit-coms; such as the dreaded moment of coming of age portrayed in ‘the talk’ when parents have a private awkward conversation about sex. I flipped the table and asked my parents about their experience coming of age, learning about sex, what they think of the present approach, and how they would change it. This Audio Feature is an examination of my parent’s experiences with sex education in contrast to mine. We look into how little has changed over the years, and they weigh in with their opinions on the matter.
