This is an audio documentary about the young local fashion designer, Caroline Yassa, building her brand upon the revival of the idea of maison to couture. My story is about how the fashion industry in Egypt is growing by the day. Young models and fashion designers are on the rise. It’s interesting because now, we have a number of designers who started from scratch to create a local brand of their own affected by the culture along with the world’s most fashionable trends. The audio documentary focuses on the young fashion designer, Caroline Yassa, and on her journey to build her brand upon the revival of the idea of maison to couture.
