Description or Abstract
masculinity is embedded in Arab culture especially in beliefs regarding tobacco smoking. This belief renders women who smoke more vulnerable to criticism or judgement by the society. This phenomenon seems to be deep rooted in Arab society in general due to the more conservative beliefs, and traditions they have adopted along the centuries. This audio documentary sheds a light on the struggles of female smokers in Egypt
