Description or Abstract
We begin with contrasting water sustainability with other goals for water management, including reliability, resilience, justice, and security. We consider sustainability to be a term that encompasses all of the others. Based on this, we identify criteria for water sustainability, describe them, and provide practical examples of how they can be implemented in the Egyptian context.
