The Arab Lobby and the United States

The AUC Forum organized a panel discussion entitled, “The Arab Lobby and the United States” with Dania Koleilat Khatib, professor of philosophy in politics at the University of Exeter. This panel discussion consisted of two parts. The first part tackled the following questions: How does the decision-making system in the United States work, and what is the influence of lobbying? The second part highlighted the dynamics of Arab lobbying and addressed why Arabs have no lobby. Audience were invited to discuss their opinion on the matter and share their thoughts on whether Arabs can ever have a lobby. The panel was chaired by Bahgat Korany, professor in the Department of Political Science and director of the AUC Forum.
