Abstract

[تعوَّل هذه المقالة على بحث إثنوجرافي ﺃﹸجري مع شاعرات وشعراء صحراويين، وذلك من أجل تتبُّع جذور الشعر الشفاهي لدى جماعات تتحدّث الحسّانية فى شمال غرب أفريقيا. تناقش المقالة التبدّلات التي طرأت على أساليب انتقال هذا الشعر وسياقات أدائه ومضمونه الشعري. وعلى حين أن تكاثر وسائل الإعلام الجديدة قد قلَّص من تدرّب شباب الشعراء عليه تدرّباً مهنياً، فإن الشعر الحسّاني يحظى بمتابعة نشيطة من قِبَل مجموعات متفاوتة الأعمار. وفي سياق الصراعِ الدولي الطويل على الصحراء الغربية تبدّى هذا الجنس الأدبي ظاهراً للعيان، بوصفه جزءاً من مشروعات قومية واسعة تسعى إلى الإعلاء من شأن الموروث الثقافي الصحراوي ودعم برامج سياسية معارضة . Drawing on ethnographic research on Sahrawi poets, this article traces the roots of oral poetry in Hassaniya-speaking communities in Northwest Africa and discusses recent shifts in modes of transmission, performance, context, and poetic content. While the proliferation of new media has decreased the apprenticeship of younger poets, Hassani poetry has maintained an active following among mixed age groups. In the context of the protracted international conflict over the Western Sahara, the genre has gained new visibility as part of larger national projects to promote Sahrawi cultural heritage and advance opposing political agendas.]
