“Organized Chaos” is a description that comes to mind when thinking of the Egyptian transportation system. Regular public transportation users know bus timings, pickup points and drop-off points, not because they refer to some known guide but they just know, mostly by asking around. Except for the Metro & Railways, there’s no real official guide to the Egyptian public transportation system. Also, both Metro and Railway have a very poor signage system and website that makes it challenging to navigate or irregular users. Thus, this project aims at making public transportation, specifically The Egyptian National Railways, more appealing by creating an online and an offline guide/system that’s more informative, visually appealing and overall more user-friendly experience.
