Book on Body Art in Egypt
This book studies and analyzes the evolution and history of tattoos in Egypt specifically. Nowadays, there are more and more individuals varying in age and group, that are getting tattooed. This specific work examines how tattoos originated and looks closely into the motivations that various individuals have for getting tattoos or having tattoo modifications. It is important to mention that popular culture in Egypt has vastly and greatly gained interest for tattoos, which is one of the many reasons why this study is conducted. The book’s different paper textures guide the reader through the different historical eras being discussed.
