This project focuses on educating the Egyptian society about plastic pollution, changing their mindsets from being absolute consumers to boarder line producers, and encouraging them to plant inside the house in order to make use of one of our richest natural resources; soil. The project brings more awareness to the environmental crisis that Egypt is going through. Educating the Egyptian society of the latter is a very early yet vital step towards being aware of the existing environmental complications and trying to solve them in hope to create a better environment. Accordingly, the product this project brings about is an innovative plastic water bottle for an existing Egyptian company that is easy to reuse as a planting pot. This will reduce the pollution caused by single use water bottles, and also encourage Egyptian consumers to plant inside the house, as well as educate them about the benefits of planting. This product will introduce a new mindset to all Egyptians and will be a start for a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
