inAccessible:Mapping Accessibility Struggles in Egypt
This project raises awareness on one of the most critical issues of the marginalized differently-abled group in Egypt. Research shows that there are countless daily chronic and constant struggles confronting people with different abilities in public and private spaces. In this regard, “inAccessible” aims to map different situations and events a person with a physical disability might experience. By applying the power of design, this project - through an innovative approach – sheds light on physical and emotional obstacles while providing people with solutions to the issue. The project assists each individual to be part of the solution and not be part of the problem. These solutions and actions will help facilitate an accessible social environment for people with different needs in Egypt.
