This is an awareness project on the issue of homeless people in Egypt. The project aims to shed light on different types of problems homeless people in Egypt face, through two perspectives: A homeless person who has to navigate their life along with taking into consideration the harshness of the society and a person who believes homeless people are faking their problems. The purpose of portraying these two perspectives is to show how a critical situation in one non privileged person’s life is made more difficult by the normalized lack of empathy portrayed under the umbrella of skepticism from many people who are not homeless. The project aims to provide an unfiltered portrayal of reality for a homeless person living in Egypt.
