Description or Abstract
I conducted an interview with Starwood regional PR and marketing manager Dina Naeem. I intended for the interview to be about how she views and lives life and I was planning to elaborate on personal topics like that however it took a turn to the more professional side so I just went with it and tried to make it as flowy as possible. Since Dina is a family friend, I conducted my background research by asking my family questions about for example what she does, how old her children are, and I just got a brief understanding of who she is as a person so that I could know what to ask and how to address my questions to make her comfortable doing the interview. What I've learnt by doing this project is that no matter how planned and organized your questions are, the direction you want the interview to go could always change and take you by surprise, the trick is going with it and being ready to think of appropriate questions on the spot. Other than that, I didn't really have an issue with anything else during the assignment and I have experience with audacity so it wasn't a challenge for me to edit and convert my sound file.
