This audio documentary is a profile about Magda Haroun, the president of the Egyptian Jewish community, and one of the few Egyptian Jews living in Egypt. The purpose of this is to document Haroun’s life and to know the aspect she looked at it from, since she was a student until she grew up. The Egyptian Jewish community has been declining, and currently there are only three female Egyptian Jews in Egypt. Magda Haroun is the president of this community and is trying to preserve the Egyptian Jewish heritage. Haroun refused to emigrate outside Egypt and decided to stay and build a family. Her father, Chehata Haroun, played a key role in establishing her identity as a true Egyptian Jew
